Description
Ginny Apple, Master Wildlife Conservationist with the State Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, is back to talk about hawks. Aside from songbirds, crows and other sky-borne avians, birds of prey, or raptors, are at the top of the food chain and hunt prey and scavenge to sate their carnivorous appetites. Birds of prey are apex predators that play an important role in maintaining the health of their habitats. Learn about hawks and other raptors that are mostly diurnal, meaning they are active in the daytime, and the many threats they face. Free program - no registration required.
