Call to artists: Out of Many art exhibit

The Galleries @ WORK_SPACE and curators Natasha Samuels and Robert Cooper Jr. invite artists to submit work for "Out of Many," an art exhibit celebrating the vibrant heritage, culture, and people of the Caribbean. This exhibit will open during Caribbean Heritage Month on Friday, June 6, 2025, at WORK_SPACE in Manchester, CT.
We welcome submissions in all forms and mediums—photography, paintings, sculptures, mixed media, and performance art—that reflect the rich spirit, history, and identity of the Caribbean. While preference will be given to artists of Caribbean descent, submissions of up to three pieces are encouraged from all creatives (16+ yrs of age) in New England and New York whose work focuses on Caribbean life and culture.
· Exhibit Dates: Friday, June 6 – Sunday, Aug. 3rd, 2025

· Opening Night: Friday, June 6, 5:30-7:00p (Artist introductions at 6pm)
· 2nd Saturday Open Houses: Sat. June 14 and July 12, 10a-2p
· Artwork Pickup Dates: M-W Aug. 4-Aug. 6 btw 10a-4p or Thurs. Aug. 7 btw 10a-7p
Other dates will be added for companion programs (conversations, performances, presentations, etc) including a short documentary about traditional Caribbean costumes and fashion. Artists and cultural historians with insights or contributions are encouraged to participate.
