Annual Holiday Art Show & Sale

The annual Simsbury Artists’ Holiday Art Show and Sale will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm at the Simsbury Free Library, 749 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury - one block north of the public library.

Are you looking for a unique holiday gift? Would you like to see artists at work or do you have questions about their creative processes? If so, stop by, talk with the artists and see their new work. This year’s participating artists are Rita Bond, Mike Laiuppa, Deborah Leonard, Quyen Phan, Ken Picard, Lori Racicot and Karyn Sweezy. Items for sale include oil and acrylic paintings, photography, pottery, and lampwork – glass beads and jewelry. To learn more about each artist, visit our website at www.Simsburyartists.org.

Starting in 2009, Simsbury artists have opened their studios to the public during Open Studios weekend providing an opportunity for participants to watch artists at work and to ask questions about their creative processes. Since the fall of 2017, the artists have come together to host a Holiday Art Show & Sale, in one location, the Simsbury Free Library. Simsbury Open Studio artists teach classes and workshops in local schools, art associations, and their studios. Their award-winning work has been accepted into local, regional and national juried shows.
